1941 : Born on September 19 in Malhangalene, Maputo.
1958 : At seventeen he completed the industrial course in Civil Construction.
1966 : Participated as a visual artist in the collective exhibition of the Festivities of the city of Lourenço Marques (Maurenoputo Marques).
1967 : He held his first exhibition at the Cooperativa da Casas de Lourenço Marques where he worked as an architectural designer. His works were strongly influenced by African culture, by elements such as the social repression suffered, but also the characteristic vivacity of the Mozambican people.
1973 : Received the “Acquisition Prize” at the Salão de Arte Moderna, in Luanda.
1980 : From this year on he began to dedicate himself entirely to art.
1982 : Recebe a grant from the Spanish Government, through which he was able to work in ceramics in the city of Madrid, at Taller Azul, and in zinc engraving, with Óscar Manezzi.
1986 : He went to live in Portugal, with a grant from the Portuguese government.
1987: Received an “Honorable Mention” at the Casino Estoril Autumn Hall.
1991: He was awarded an "Honorable Mention" at the Óbidos Biennial.
