About Molina
Source: Facebook
1926: Born in Spain, he lived in different places in Europe and America. He began his studies of drawing and painting in S. Carlos de Valencia, but it was in Brazil that his great challenge began: Painting. There he studies Fine Arts and wins praise
critics who point to him as a versatile painter. Molina is divided between the beauty of Portuguese architecture, evident in the figuratives, and the inner need to explore the abstract.
1960 : Sets up in Portugal. The figurative painter aspect becomes more striking
due to his love for Portuguese lands. Nobody painted Portugal more than he did,
from small villages to large cities, from north to south of the country.
2000: he gives a new lease of life to his work as an abstract painter, breaking with the image
exclusive to the architectural figurative. Little known to the general public, it was
reserved for collectors.
2002 : Death at age 76.
