1,960 – 1st foray into the field of Fine Arts 1960 – 1972: Attends Master Painting workshops and Fine Arts courses in Mozambique and Portugal 1960 – 1972: Participates in several group exhibitions in the country and abroad, having received several first prizes. 1971: 1st Solo Exhibition – At the age of 18, in the gallery of the Sociedade de Estudos de Lourenço Marques. All works are auctioned Lourenço Marques – Mozambique 1973: 1st and 3rd place out of 2500 participants, with 2 works presented, competition sponsored by the Ministry of Education and Culture – Lisbon – Portugal. 1975: Professor of Fine Arts and Technical Drawing – Appointed to the position of Professor at the Mouzinho de Albuquerque Industrial School and Center for Cultural Studies by the Government of the Republic of Mozambique. – During this period, he carried out official work for the Estado Novo, the bronze statue of the 1st President of Frelimo, Eduardo Modelane – Mozambique. 1981: Year of exile. 1987: Solo exhibition in São Paulo - Brazil. He considers himself a Mozambican Artist due to the thematic choice of his works – People and customs, Fauna and Landscape of his native country. – At the invitation of Linhas Aéreas Moçambicanas, he collaborates with his works to decorate new Boeings acquired by the company. – Greater commitment to artistic and aesthetic work – works in oil on canvas, watercolor, gouache and pastel.
