1942: Born in Lisbon
1957: Begins his first works in painting.
1958: He moved to Lourenço Marques, Mozambique, where he attended the Art School - Núcleo de Arte and later exhibited several works.
1967: Returned to Portugal, set up his atelier in Lisbon, where he dedicated himself to the oil technique.
1974-75: Traveled through Europe and resided in Zurich and Madrid.
1977: Returns definitively to Lisbon.
1984: Participation in a group exhibition at Galeria Arcano XXI. This year he also directed the “São Bento” Art Gallery.
1985: He made several trips to Europe, Holland, Spain, Belgium, Austria and Italy, where he carried out several works in a “metaphysical” line. He also participated in several exhibitions in Lisbon.
1988: Invited to temporarily maintain a studio in the Pena Palace, which allowed the metaphysical impulse to develop in the painter's works.
Current status: Represented at the Maputo City Council Museum, Caixa Geral de Depósitos, IGAPHE - Institute of State Housing Heritage and other public institutions, in private companies and in numerous Portuguese private collections and foreign.
