1940: Born in Lisbon
The Recalcitrant Autodidact.
Did not study in art schools. He was an advertising decorator, graphic designer and illustrator, until he devoted himself completely to painting, sculpture and ceramics.
Under the guidance of Fred Kradolfer, he collaborated on several decoration works.
The female figures that Albino Moura portrayed in the most diverse forms and expressions with their very own trait and style are known.
Albino Moura's creative work was recognized by several entities and institutions, including the distinction with the Gold Medal of Cultural Merit, awarded by the Municipality of Almada in 2006.
With a strong literary sensibility, from the 1990s onwards, Albino Moura was part of some poetic collectives and published books of poetry.
1959: Starts to exhibit regularly and is represented at the Museum of Art of Mozambique, Municipal Museum of Sabugal, Municipality of Almada, Municipality of Seixal, Municipality of Alcácer do Sal and in national private collections and foreign.
2019: Death in Almada
